The Monitoring Committee of the Small Projects Fund of the Rába-Duna-Vág European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation with Limited Liability held its second meeting on February 21, 2024, at the Pest County Municipal Office.
During the meeting, Ema Vasiová, Director of the RDV EGTC and Chair of the Small Projects Fund Monitoring Committee, briefly summarized the experiences related to the HUSK SPF/2301 call for proposals, the statistical data on the applications received, and the results of the evaluations.
A total of 397 applications were submitted via the Interreg+ online application system, of which 199 are eligible in the western program area managed by RDV EGTC. The total ERDF funding requested for the 199 applications is €4,963,425. The largest number of applications sought support for festivals and cultural events, but a significant number of applications also focused on sports events, as well as professional conferences and programs.
The aim of the Small Projects Fund is to strengthen cross-border social cohesion and partnership, as well as to encourage citizens and organizations to participate in and contribute to the democratic and civic life of the Union. Nothing demonstrates the success of the call for proposals better than the fact that 199 applicant organizations submitted proposals involving 381 different cross-border organizations.
The significance of the Small Projects Fund Monitoring Committee meeting lies in the fact that the most important item on the agenda is the approval of the list (ranking) of small projects under the HUSK SPF/2301 call for proposals. During the quality assessment
