Pamiatková prehliadka (Memorial Parade)
The small project was implemented between 18 and 20 July 2025, with the aim of strengthening cultural ties, partnership cooperation and cross-border friendships between the municipalities of Ňárad (SK), Tápióbicske (HU) and Nyárád (HU). It built on the tradition of local village days and the historical figure of Alajos Szini Sebő.
The programme included official partner meetings, an ecumenical service and commemorative wreath-laying ceremonies, as well as a professional lecture and a discussion forum entitled, addressing everyday life in the region. Saturday’s programme was dedicated to craft traditions and living history. Alongside an interactive craft exhibition and a cooking competition, a live reconstruction of the Battle of Tápióbicske took place, accompanied by expert commentary from a military historian. At the conclusion of the project, cooperation agreements were signed between the municipalities of Ňárad, Nyárád and Tápióbicske, laying the foundations for further development in the fields of culture, volunteering and regional cooperation. The project involved more than one hundred participants from both countries, and the activities were attended by approximately 500 visitors.
