Kocsi Napok (Days of Kocs)
Within the small project “Határon átnyúló Kocsi Napok” (Cross-Border Days of the
Municipality of Kocs), a two-day community and professional event was held in cooperation
between the municipalities of Kocs (HU) and Moča (SK). The programme aimed to
strengthen the relationship between the partner municipalities, showcase each community’s
cultural values, and promote active civic and community participation. The event included
professional consultations, cultural and tradition-inspired presentations, a museum exhibition
featuring the wagon as a hungarikum and the cultural heritage of Moča (SK), community,
family, and children’s activities, an international wagon-pulling competition, concerts, and a
seminar on European democratic participation. The small project directly involved over 100
registered participants, while the public events reached several hundred visitors.
