Výročie 750 (750th Anniversary)
The small project aimed to strengthen cross-border cooperation between Trnávka (SK) and
Tárnok (HU) on the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the first written mention of
Csallóköztárnok, the 175th anniversary of the construction of the church, the 150th
anniversary of the school building and the founding of the volunteer fire brigade, as well as
the 80th anniversary of the football club. The project included a two-day community and
cultural event featuring professional programmes, a joint workshop, a cultural festival, and
excursions. The programmes actively involved residents and representatives of both
municipalities, with approximately 150 participants taking part, fostering the deepening of
personal relationships and the experience of shared European values. The project tangibly
contributed to durable, institutionalized cross-border cooperation and to strengthening trust
between the communities.
