V. Gesztenyefesztivál (5th Chestnut Festival)
Within the framework of the small project, the „V. Gesztenyefesztivál“ (5th Chestnut
Festival) was organized by the municipality of Tokodaltáró (HU) with the participation of its
sister municipality Kamenný Most (SK). The event aimed to strengthen cross-border
cooperation and community ties through cultural, gastronomic, and sports activities. The
festival featured joint municipal programmes, a friendly football match, a local history
exhibition, children’s performances, chestnut-themed drawing and baking competitions, as
well as concerts. The programmes engaged participants of all ages and encouraged active
community involvement. A total of 80 people participated actively in the project, while the
estimated attendance at the festival was around 1,000 visitors.
