Spoznaj svojho suseda (Meet Your Neighbor)

The small project “ Spoznaj svojho suseda“ (Get to Know Your Neighbor) was a cross-border
community and cultural event organized by the municipalities of Malinovo (SK) and
Hédervár (HU). The central element of the project was the Village Day in Malinovo, offering
a full-day programme for visitors. The programme included a municipal meeting and forum, a
football tournament, a goulash cooking competition, folk and popular music performances,
children’s activities, as well as professional demonstrations by volunteer fire brigades. A total
of 900 visitors participated in the event, including families, young people, seniors, and
representatives of civil organizations from both countries.
