My sme budúcnosť! (We are the future!)
The small project „My sme budúcnosť!“ (We Are the Future!) brought together children and
youth from Győr (HU) and Šamorín (SK) through the exploration of shared cultural values
and the development of personal relationships and friendships. The project featured two
public programmes: an educational and cultural awareness day and a full-day youth folklore
festival. These events included joint dance and music performances, handicraft and dance
workshops, as well as interactive activities that encouraged active participation of children
and young people. The programmes involved more than 500 children and youth participants.
The event – organised as a children’s and youth folklore festival – aimed to preserve folk
culture, foster children’s and youth folklore, and support cultural-educational activities.
