Within the framework of the small project “Mostová 780,” a two-day event combining
historical, cultural, and sports elements was held in Mostová (SK) to commemorate the 780th
anniversary of the first written mention of the village, in partnership with Bábolna (HU). The
programme included ceremonial commemoration, a municipal meeting, professional
discussions, as well as sports and cultural activities (football tournament, firefighter
demonstrations, folk dance and music performances, concerts). The small project aimed to
strengthen local identity, preserve traditions, and deepen cross-border relations between
Slovakia and Hungary. A total of 350 participants attended the event.
