MEETINGVILLAGES
The aim of the small project was a multi-day cultural and community event organised by the municipality of Kráľovičove Kračany (SK) in partnership with four Hungarian municipalities: Szentkirály, Bakonyszentkirály, Győrság, and Szentistván. The event included presentations by the project partners, sharing of good practices, and the signing of an official cooperation agreement. The cultural programme featured performances by local and partner folklore and music ensembles, concerts, children’s shows, and celebratory events. Participants also took part in a panel discussion focusing on the experiences of the past 20 years within the European Union.
The project paid particular attention to offering programmes for all age groups, promoting the understanding of cultural values, and fostering the development of international contacts. The total attendance reached approximately 1,000 participants, contributing to the strengthening of dialogue and cooperation among people living in the cross-border region.
