KESZIKULT

The KESZIKULT small project was a full-day event, during which, alongside the partners’ professional programmes, visitors were offered a variety of exciting activities – a traditional food cooking competition; an international chess tournament for children, youth, and adults; a cross-border children’s football match; creative workshops, children’s programmes, outdoor chess, an environmental lecture, and an EU-awareness quiz. The focus was on the municipalities of Bátorove Kosihy and Bakonyszentlászló, as well as the EuroPRESS Bátorove Kosihy and Komárom-Esztergom County Chess Association clubs, complemented by support from local cultural and sports organisations. The day concluded with musical performances and a DJ, strengthening community and cross-border connections.

Approximately 3,000 people attended the event. As a result of the project, cross-border relations were strengthened, civic awareness increased, community cooperation was reinforced, and intergenerational ties were enhanced.
