Imeľské dni (Days of Imeľ)
The aim of the three-day event „Imeľ Days 2025” was to strengthen community life and develop cross-border cooperation between the municipality of Imeľ and its partner municipalities Beled, Héreg and Nemesszalók. The programme was based on the traditions of the municipality, with particular emphasis on experience sharing, intergenerational dialogue, and strengthening community identity.
On Friday, the programme was opened by the „Friendship Run“, followed by children’s performances and bilingual games. In the afternoon, a partners’ meeting presented the results achieved so far and defined new cooperation opportunities. On Saturday, the programme included a cooking competition, football tournament, climate seminar, craft exhibition, children’s and dance performances, and evening folklore and music shows, concluding with a retro disco. On Sunday, the event was closed with a festive mass and worship service.
A total of more than1,200 visitors attended the event, of whom approximately 240 came directly from the partner municipalities.
