Héreg-Ímely találkozó (Héreg–Imeľ Meeting)
The Héreg–Imeľ twinning meeting took place in October 2025. The event provided an opportunity for local representatives, civil organisations, and citizens to engage in joint reflection and to explore the everyday significance of European integration and cross-border cooperation. The professional programme included a joint council session and a round-table discussion on the functioning of the EU and civil cooperation in border regions, followed by a cultural programme attended by 144 participants. The programme featured lectures on local history, performances by folk music and dance ensembles, children’s shows, majorette performances, and concerts.
