The small project “Gastro” – implemented in cooperation between the municipalities of
Čierny Brod (SK) and Taksony (HU) – aimed to showcase cultural and gastronomic traditions
and strengthen relations between the two municipalities. The full-day gastronomic and social
event included a cooking competition, a gastronomy workshop, wine tasting, and children’s
programmes. A total of 190 participants took part in the event, including local residents,
invited participants from Hungary, and professional collaborators. The small project
contributed to bringing communities closer together, highlighting shared values, and
reinforcing long-term cross-border partnerships.
