Deň rodiny (Family Day)
The small project was implemented at the sports facilities of the Slovak municipalities of Hrubá Borša and Jánovce. The project aimed to strengthen cross-border cooperation with the Hungarian municipalities of Csomád and Etyek, develop cultural and community relations, and elevate the traditional “Family Day” event to an international level.
The programme included an official opening ceremony, football matches for several age groups, cultural performances, handicraft workshops, a professional and community forum, as well as family-oriented and leisure activities. The event attracted approximately 600 visitors and contributed to the revitalisation of relations between the municipalities, as well as to the establishment of new partnerships aimed at further strengthening regional cooperation.
