In August 2025, a three-day event featuring a series of cultural, gastronomic, and sports elements took place in the municipality of Trstice in partnership with Hegyeshalom. Programmes were held at multiple locations and included a meeting of municipal authorities, presentations of good practice examples, the signing of a cooperation agreement, and a public debate accompanied by a lecture on the role of Saint Stephen in modern Europe. The programme also included community experience activities such as a dance house, communal singing, a football match, gastronomic demonstrations, and traditional village day programmes. Approximately 1,000 visitors attended the event, including both international and local participants.
