crossBORDERcrossGENERATION

The aim of the project „crossBORDER–crossGENERATION“ and the six partners (the municipalities of Tényő, Sokorópátka and Malé Dvorníky, the Foundation for the Students of the Sokorópátka Primary School, the Association for the School in Tényő, and the Hungarian Language Primary School in Malé Dvorníky) was to strengthen cross-border and intergenerational relations and dialogue. The event took place in Malé Dvorníky, where the opening of „Malé Dvorníky Summer 2025“, a children’s drawing exhibition, the ceremonial signing of partnership agreements, and the planting of the „Tree of Friendship and the EU“ were held. Within the framework of the „Culture Without Borders“ festival, cultural groups from the partner municipalities performed, and a workshop presented the importance of civic and democratic participation. A total of 133 participants took part on behalf of the partners, with an overall attendance of approximately 350 people. The project resulted in new collaborations, strengthened community relations, and the establishment of long-term sustainable, trust-based partnerships on both sides of the border.
