Art&Heritage Fest

“Art&Heritage Fest” was a four-day cross-border arts and cultural festival jointly organized
by the municipality of Máriakálnok (HU), the municipality of Mierovo (SK), and the Mierovo
branch of Csemadok. The rich programme – a meeting of traditional wedding masters,
wedding traditions, exhibitions, scientific and public discussions, concerts, and a producers’
fair – engaged all age groups. Approximately 2 000 visitors participated in the event,
including around 300 guests from Slovakia. The event contributed to strengthening trust,
fostering cultural relations between communities, and promoting the cultural diversity of the
region.
