Burčiakový festival (New Wine Festival)

The “Young Wine Festival” in Moča, held in August 2025, created an opportunity for local communities to meet, exchange culture, traditions, and experiences, and to establish long-term cooperation between the municipalities of Moča (SK), Kocs (HU), Süttő (HU), and Osli (HU).

The two-day event featured a diverse programme: folklore performances, traditional craft demonstrations, cultural and professional discussions, as well as music concerts enriched the days. The programme included the exhibition “Mirror of Life in the Border Region”, the folklore programme “Melodies of the Border Region”, as well as a community-building workshop on cross-border cooperation and EU opportunities.

More than 1,000 visitors attended the event. The project strengthened community ties, cultural and intergenerational dialogue, promoted local traditions, and supported sustainable cross-border cooperation.
