The PARKFEST small project aimed to strengthen the regional identity of the Slovak–Hungarian border region and to develop gastronomic tourism through a joint cultural and gastronomic event, as well as a cultural programme dedicated to the heritage of Franz Schubert and Franz Sacher. The programme commenced with a professional opening event and the signing of a cooperation agreement at the Esterházy Castle, followed by gastronomic and cultural events in the park, including a cooking competition, tastings, and family-oriented activities.

The event attracted more than 2,000 visitors and contributed to strengthening local producers and cultural ties, supported interaction among local communities, promoted traditional dishes and handicraft values, and reinforced cross-border cooperation.
